Jnana (or Gyana) Yoga
Gyana Yoga is usually defined as the way of knowledge that comes from the study of texts, spiritual books and by listening to the word of Masters, but its real meaning is "knowledge realized through personal experience.
It's a kind of hard to practice yoga, suitable for those few people who are naturally predisposed, and so stubborn, almost obsessive, to seek answers to fundamental questions of existence, through deep reflection and introspection.
This intense and continuous investigation is able to eliminate blocks, closures, restrictions, the conditioning and set concepts of the mind, is able to open the gates of the more subtle comprehension and make the mind receptive and intuitive.
When the mind is clean, relaxed and focused , the higher truths can be revealed during meditative states, as intuitive flashes.
