Karma Yoga
Karma means action, but when talking about Karma Yoga the real meaning is "action accomplished in harmony".
Its initial aim is to develop consciousness of what happens inside, as well as externally, through observation of our own actions, reactions, conditioning, influences, limitations, in order to create integration, harmony and unity in our own personality.
Karma Yoga leads up exactly to the same experiences of other branches of Yoga and is a path suitable and available to everyone, as everyone has to work and fulfil physical and mental actions. Normally it's difficult to appreciate Karma Yoga because other paths, such as Raja Yoga, seem to be more "yogic".
Many people think they can find peace only isolated from the world, but, avoiding interaction with others, does not solve mental problems that are the basis of their tensions and imbalances in the personality.
Those that have achieved high conditions of awareness or enlightenment in situations of seclusion or isolation, are people who had previously addressed and resolved most of their problems by living in society.
